Jenny Marsden - Director and Event/Conference Manager  

Jenny worked as an Event and Conference Organiser for two of Brisbane's most successful conference organisers for a total of nine years prior to setting up Event Solutions in 1996.

Jenny had previously worked for eight years in conference management.  Two years at the Australian National University, Canberra and six years at a very busy conference and golfing resort in Queensland.  This experience has resulted in a thorough knowledge and understanding of the conference and event industry from both the organisers and venue point of view.

She also has extensive experience in training and supervising work experience students from the Hotel School of Lausanne whilst working in Switzerland (office administration, bar stock control, budgeting and purchasing for the Seiler Hotel Group in Zermatt). She also worked as a trainer for two years with  Amlink (now Certain Software) resulting in a thorough knowledge of the EventsPro software program.

In 1993 Jenny won an award for the 'Most Outstanding Operations Person' from the Meetings Industry Association of Australia (MIAA). 

In 1997, Jenny was invited to lecture at the Northpoint TAFE on Hospitality and Conference Management and returned in 1998.

Vicky James - Marketing Consultant and Event Manager

Vicky is an experienced marketing professional with a track record developing successful brand awareness and consideration and sales outcomes in both Australia and England.  She is recognised for her ability to understand complex business strategies and integrate them into marketing plans for business and retail markets.

Vicky has over 25 years experience in finance, sport and communication industries with the well known brands of  Suncorp, Slazengers and the British Broadcasting Corporation.  She has high level competencies in sponsorship and event management, media management, channel communications, public relations and project leadership.
